Gino Del Sesto
Head of Government Relations, Europe at MetLife

Gino Del Sesto is currently Head of Government Relations, Europe. He is based in Dublin and is responsible for coordinating regulatory relations and government affairs for MetLife in the fourteen European markets in which it operates.
Gino joined MetLife in 2003 and worked in various business roles in New York and London before relocating to Dublin in 2012. Immediately prior to his current position, Gino was Head of Strategic Initiatives, Western and Central Europe. In this role he led the planning and implementation of MetLife’s European legal re-structuring project.
Before joining MetLife, Gino worked for the U.S. Government, serving on the White House and State Department staffs. Gino received his BA in International Studies from Colby College, his MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University, and his MBA from Fordham University. He has also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in European Union Law from King’s College London.
