April 29, 2022 1:00 PM CET GET TICKETS

Big Tech, apart from being the key to digitalization, the cornerstone of e-commerce, making information more accessible and the greatest source of education, is a means to defend social security and state sovereignty. Digital technologies can foster and widen democratic and inclusive societies.

Conversely, as contemporary battles and arguments are concentrated in a cyber warfare now, Global Tech companies can fuel polarization, spread misinformation, and create echo chambers eroding trust in the economy, democratic institutions and practices.

On this panel, we would like to hear GR heads of Global Tech discussing the policies and regulatory proposals to governments, how they assess informational wars and advocate for further development of the tech industry:

Weronika Kuna Director, Government affairs at Microsoft
Katarzyna Chojecka Senior Consultant at CEC Group
Yuriy Sak Partner, Director of Special Projects at CFC Big Ideas
Jolanta Jaworska Vice President and Board Member ABSL Poland, Director Government & Regulatory Affairs IBM Poland, Baltic & Ukraine
